Have you been laid off or are facing changes due to Northvolt’s bankruptcy? Here you’ll find support to help you take the next step. In collaboration with Skellefteå Municipality, Luleå University of Technology offers guidance and opportunities through the Transition Academy (Omställningsakademin), to provide you with the best possible support. Together, we aim to help as many people as possible discover a new and exciting career — perhaps through further education!

Luleå University of Technology offers a wide range of opportunities

• MOOC
  Free online courses for everyone. In two or three weeks you can further your education. Upon successful completion of the course, you can get a certificate.
• Courses
  Develop your skills for free. You can study at quarter or half speed while working.
• Programmes
  Full-time or part-time programs leading to new career opportunities.

For individuals who have been made redundant, many of our courses are free of charge. This includes stand-alone courses and MOOCs. Program studies may also be free of charge depending on your previous educational background and situation.
