Meet Fedor
What path is a possibility after graduation? Fedor is planning to use his learned skills from the Bachelor programme in Computer Graphics for Games and Film to become a teacher.
What’s the best thing about your programme?
“The programmes hands-on approach to computer graphics and opportunities to work on real-world projects are fantastic. The access to high-end equipment and the collaborative environment with peers and mentors make it incredibly engaging and rewarding.”
How is student life for you?
“Student life is fulfilling and balanced. While the programme keeps me busy, the campus offers great opportunities for socialising and collaboration. The proximity to nature and opportunities to enjoy winter sports like snowboarding add an extra layer of enjoyment.”
What about the town of Skellefteå?
“Skellefteå has a unique charm with its mix of innovation and nature. The community is friendly, and I love how the town embraces its wintery atmosphere, making it ideal for someone who enjoys snow and outdoor activities. The Northern Lights are an added bonus!”
Any culture shock moments?
“Moving from Croatia to south Sweden and then to northern Sweden for my studies, I had to adjust to the quieter pace of life, extreme winter temperatures, and the long, dark winters. However, the welcoming environment and incredible natural beauty have more than made up for it.”
What would you like to work with when you graduate?
“I aspire to stay on campus as a teacher, sharing my knowledge and experiences with students. Teaching combines my love for working with people and my passion for computer graphics. If that isn’t possible, I would love to work in the industry at one of the big visual effects companies.”
Anything you would like to add?
“Skellefteå has become a second home for me, and its combination of technological innovation and beautiful landscapes makes it an incredible place to live and grow. I feel fortunate to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community!”
