Degree Project Fair 2025

The first week of October, a degree project fair is organised annually at LTU where you as a student can network with both small and medium-sized companies, larger companies and the public sector before your thesis.

Among the exhibitors are both companies and the public sector from Norrland. Several of the participants have already prepared proposals for degree projects waiting to find "their" students, while others have a more open approach that welcomes suggestions from the students themselves.

The thesis fair is organised by Norrlandsnavet in collaboration with LTU.

Companies/organisations participating in the Degree Project Fair 2025

• Vatteninfo Sverige AB
  We have ideas for two different thesis projects: PFAS in drinking water, occurrence and PFAS treatment in drinking water, up- and downscaling. We are interested in students in educational areas such as environment and water.
  
  
• SCA
  We have our own ideas for degree projects, but we are happy to receive suggestions from you. We are interested in students in the fields of civil engineering and economics.
  
  
• Azets (We will change name before October, now part of KPMG)
  We are open to suggestions from students. We are interested in students in the fields of economics, tax, law, HR and political science (public sector primarily).
  
  
• Waibloz AB
  Our company participates in the Arctic Business Incubator and is based in Skellefteå Science Park, where we have close co-operation with local companies and communication with advisors. We are an interdisciplinary and ambitious team in the borderland between business development, biomedicine, software development and AI. Our vision is to develop customised and smart solutions that guide companies to faster and more cost-effective decisions in society. If you are interested in being part of our team and developing innovative and creative software solutions, you are warmly welcome to apply for our degree programme in product development! We are looking for students who are studying a programme in programming (e.g. Java, Python or Linux), digital or design creation or computer science. Students in related fields of study can also apply to our project.

  We have our own ideas about degree projects, but we are happy to receive suggestions from you. We are interested in students in the fields of civil engineering (materials, construction and mining) and economics.
