Farewell ceremony

Are you a final-year student? Luleå University of Technology organises a farewell ceremony for those who finish their programme in January 2026 or attend a technical programme that ends in June 2026 and have study location in Luleå or distance.
The students are thanked one by one on stage by the vice-chancellor who hands over a thank you diploma and by a representative of the programme who hands over a ribbon with an LTU pin. After the ceremony, you will be photographed in groups for each program.
You have the opportunity to invite up to four guests. Guests are registered in the registration form.
Ceremony schedule
Depending on the number of participants, there will be two or three ceremonies during the day. You will find out which of the ceremonies you will attend at the earliest one week after registration has closed.
Expect the first ceremony to start in the early morning and the last ceremony to finish in the late afternoon. Each ceremony will last up to two hours.
Invitation and registration
The invitation has been sent to the email address you registered in Ladok. The last day to register is 5 October.
