The Design research unit at Luleå University of Technology invites you to two days of lectures, hands‑on sessions, and workshops in contemporary design methods.
Registration
Send an e-mail to Maria Udén with name, address, and some words about your areas of interest. Write GENGREEN in the subject line.
Participants will get to try combining digital tools with physical tools in our labs. There will be lectures and a half‑day workshop focused on participatory design for green/sustainable entrepreneurship. We will also visit Havremagasinet, the County Art Gallery in Boden.
Last but not least, there will be time for networking with like‑minded people and new acquaintances from Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Language: We will use English as the common language for instructions, supervision, and lectures. We expect a small group of participants— everyone will have the chance to personally interact with colleagues and teachers in a friendly atmosphere.
If you are an entrepreneur, business owner, student, or someone who sees self‑employment as a possible future, you are part of our target group. Perhaps you pursue artistic, design, or craft activities on the side? No requirement for a registered company, F‑tax certificate, or similar. No participation fee. Meals are not included.
The event is part of the GENGREEN project, co‑funded by EU Interreg Aurora. GENGREEN focuses on learning and creative community for women’s entrepreneurship and is coordinated by the Ruralia Institute, University of Helsinki.
