How exactly do we study asteroids, meteorites, and other celestial bodies in our solar system? And how close was Luleå University of Technology to leading its own space mission?
Join us for a lecture in which Axel Hagermann, Space scientist and Professor at Luleå University of Technology, explains how he and his colleagues at the division Space Technology in Kiruna investigate asteroids, meteorites, and other bodies in the solar system. He shares his experiences from participating in several international space missions and remembers what it was like when LTU almost (!) led an entire ESA space mission to Ceres, an icy ocean world hidden in the asteroid belt.
The lecture will be held in English and is free of charge.
No registration is required.
Welcome!
