The Forum for the Arctic and Antarctic 2026 conference provides a forum for terrestrial and marine polar research communities to exchange ideas, increase dialogue, and contribute to a shared vision for the future of Swedish polar research.
The conference is organized as part of efforts to form a Swedish Centre for the Arctic and Antarctic (SCAA), and aims to advance the agendas for Arctic and Antarctic marine and terrestrial research in Sweden while identifying priorities, strengthening collaborations, and enabling pathways for implementation.
Conference highlights include:
