Ukrainian delegation visited Swedish School of Mines
Swedish School of Mines at Luleå University of Technology was visited by the mining company BGV Group and The Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce.
"We discussed future collaborations and demonstrated our laboratories as well as our research for a more environmentally friendly and sustainable development in the mining industry," says Saeed Chehreh Chelgani, director of Swedish School of Mines and assistant professor of mineral technology.
Lina Hällström, Olof Martinsson, Medi Parian and Glacialle Tiu from The Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering presented the environmental aspects they work with and the new technology used in mining in Sweden and at Luleå University of Technology's laboratories for mining and refining critical metals such as graphite and beryllium.
Thomas Aiglsperger, Director of CAMM, Center for Advanced Mining Technology and Metallurgy, presented the university's organization and research within CAMM.
Sergii Voitsehovskyi, Board Member of The BGV Group Management, presented the BGV Group and mining view in Ukraine.
