Don't miss the fall trail race with StiL

Welcome to an exciting new collaboration between StiL Running, Orienteering and Outdoor. Test yourself out on the trails, see how fast you can run or just focus on enjoying nature. Whatever your goal or activity level, this will be a race filled with a sense of community.

What:
Style Trail running race organized by StiL frilufts, Orienteering & Cross Country/Running on October 20 at 11:00.

Registration:
Registration is done on Stil's website, see link. Registration closes 18/10 at 24:00. Direct registration on site until 30 minutes before the start. 50 SEK in start fee.

Gathering and parking:
Gathering at the old Facebook parking lot. Parking is available at the start.

Start:
Number tags will be picked up 09.30 - 10:30 (latest) at the secretariat at the start area. Mass start at 11:00. More information and publication of the start list will be on Cross-Country Skiing/Running's website 19/10.

Gathering takes place at the Old construction parking lot west of Haparandavägen and opposite the snow tip on Porsön.

Course:
The longer course of eight kilometers is partly on asphalt and then turns into everything from nice path to more technical path. You will start by passing the student area Vänortsvägen and then come out in a scenic environment that will vary from a footbridge in Gammelstadsviken to running on a path in the forest. At kilometer six you will receive a rubber band from a functionary at the bird tower and then run back to the finish.

The shorter course of just over five kilometers is mostly along paths and trails. The paths vary from open and smooth paths to more technical ones where overtaking becomes all the more difficult.

Classes:
The distances will be 5 and 8 km. With respective women and men's classes.

Prize giving:
Prizes for the best in each class. The award ceremony will take place 15 minutes after the last prize winner has finished.

Participant service:
Liquids will be available at the secetarieat. Fika is available for purchase. There will be no shower or toilet facilities. Forest is available, bring your own paper.

Competition rules:

• Competitors must follow the marked course.
• Competitors compete independently without aids.
• Competitors must follow instructions and directions from officials.
• It is the competitor's responsibility to run the correct course.
• Competitors must help other competitors if there is an accident or someone is injured.
• You are running in a scenic and fragile environment so any littering is prohibited.
• Road will be crossed, be aware of vehicles.
• Violation of any of the above will result in disqualification.
• All racing is at your own risk.

Pictures:
The organizers will take pictures and film along the course and in the arena which will then be published online. By registering for the race, you have agreed that images in which you appear may be published.
