This year's Pedagogical Award goes to Françoise Dubois, Lecturer in Education and Peter Parnes, Professor of Pervasive and Mobile Computing.
Françoise Dubois is an inspiring force in education, creating learning environments that emphasize interactivity, participation and reflection. Peter Parnes has made significant contributions in the field of computer technology and strives to combine academic studies with new technologies. These are the reasons why Françoise Dubois and Peter Parnes are the recipients of the University's Pedagogical Award 2024.
The Pedagogical Award is given to teachers who have made outstanding contributions to any of Luleå University of Technology's programs.
“In the quality work around programs and courses, the university wants to reward teachers who in the best way develop and contribute to good education, good learning environment and increased quality in learning,” says Sara Thorgren, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Education and Quality, who is part of the assessment group.
