New assignment as the Vice-Chancellor’s Advisor in Collaboration
The Vice-Chancellor has decided not to re-appoint the position of Vice-Chancellor for Research and Collaboration. The Vice-Chancellor considers that the responsibility for pursuing research-related issues from a university management perspective can be done within the framework of the existing organisation.
This means, for example, that the Vice-Chancellor's Research Council will be chaired by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Pär Weihed until further notice. A new position of Vice-Chancellor's Advisor in Collaboration will be established. The Vice-Chancellor's Advisor in Collaboration will lead the Vice-Chancellor's Collaboration Council and report to the Vice-Chancellor, but will not be part of the Vice-Chancellor's Strategic Council.
A call for applications will be issued shortly.
