Petter Sundkvist appointed to Honorary Philharmonic
Petter Sundkvist, Professor of Musical Performance, has been awarded the title of Honorary Philharmonic by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
The award ceremony took place on June 5 in a packed Konserthuset in Stockholm.
“I see this award above all as an expression of the importance the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra sees in the International Orchestra Academy - an organization I have had the privilege of being part of since its inception and which the Piteå School of Music runs in close collaboration with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra,” says Petter Sundkvist.
