Luleå University of Technology researchers among the top two percent in the world
Several researchers at Luleå University of Technology are included in the Stanford list, the international ranking that each year highlights the two percent most cited researchers in the world. The list shows which researchers have had the greatest impact globally, both over their entire career and during the past year.
The researchers on the list are divided into 22 research areas and 174 sub-areas. Through their publications, they have contributed important insights in their respective fields and their work is widely cited by colleagues around the world.
The Stanford University compilation is based on citation data from the Scopus database and takes into account several different metrics, including the number of articles published, the impact of the publications and how often they are cited. The results provide a clear picture of the global importance and impact of research.
