Many applicants to the autumn programmes
By 15 April, thousands of people had applied to our programmes. At the national level, there is strong interest in higher education. This is also evident at Luleå University of Technology.
LTU’s most applied-to on-campus programmes are the Psychology Programme, Nursing, and the Business and Economics Programme.
The most popular distance programmes were the bachelor’s programmes in Information Systems, Digital Service Development, and International Business.
Interest in our Master of Science in Engineering programmes has remained relatively stable over the years. The most applied-to programmes were Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, and Space Engineering.
The university is also offering several new programmes. One of them, the distance learning Master Programme in Data Analytics in Business and Economics, had 96 first-choice applicants and 251 applicants in total.
