Visit from the Kamprad Family Foundation - a day of dialog and joint development
NorrlandsNavet recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Kamprad Family Foundation and its board for a visit focusing on providing an overall picture of the activities during the period 2020 to spring 2026. During the day, all work package leaders presented their respective parts of the project and the activities carried out over the years.
It was a full day of engagement, curiosity and valuable discussions. Together, we had the opportunity to show the breadth of the work being done and the results achieved. Collaboration has been a common thread throughout the initiative - from activities where student affairs collaborate with companies to research projects in close dialogue with the business community and training initiatives in lifelong learning that strengthen the skills of the region's small and medium-sized enterprises.
A particularly appreciated part of the visit was the meetings with some of the companies that have taken part in NorrlandsNavet's offers. These meetings provided concrete examples of the results of the activities and contributed to a deeper understanding of the benefits created.
The visit also provided space for forward-looking discussions on how the work can continue to be developed and strengthened. The dialog that took place during the day was open, constructive and inspiring, with the opportunity for the Foundation to ask questions and contribute with valuable perspectives.
