Stage 1, 2026 – 31 August, 16:00–18:00, Ormberget
The first stage of the University Orienteering series will take place at Ormberget on 31 August and is organised by StiLU Orienteering.
Information
Start time: Free start between 16:00 and 18:00
Meeting point: The stadium building at Ormberget
Parking: Participants are encouraged to cycle to the meeting point. Those arriving by car should use the upper Ormberget car park.
Map and scale: Ormberget, 1:7,500 for the short course and 1:10,000 for the medium and long courses.
Courses
Short course, 1.8 km: The easiest course has controls located near paths and offers a variety of route choices. Moderately hilly terrain.
Medium course, 4.1 km: The medium course features slightly more challenging control locations and longer legs. Moderately hilly terrain.
Long course, 5.2 km: The long course combines shorter legs in detailed terrain with longer legs where competitors can increase their speed. The terrain is mostly moderately hilly, with a few more climbs than on the shorter courses.

Please note: Private land is shown in olive green on the map and is ALWAYS out of bounds.
Please note that the maximum allowed time is two hours. Competitors who do not complete the course must report to the finish so that the organisers know who is still out in the forest.
