Stage 2 2026, September 7, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Mjölkuddsberget
The second stage of the University Orienteering series will take place at Mjölkuddsberget on 7 September and is jointly organised by the Department of Health, Education and Technology and Professional Services at Luleå University of Technology.

Start time: Free start between 16:00 and 18:00
Meeting point: Mjölkuddsberget, Kallkällan/Lingonstigen
Parking: Participants are encouraged to cycle to the meeting point. Limited parking is available nearby, subject to the parking regulations in the area.

Courses
Short course, 1.5 km: This course is technically easy. All controls can be reached by following paths, but the bold may find opportunities to take shortcuts! One of the controls may require taking a few steps through the moss beside the path. Moderately hilly terrain.
Medium course, 2.9 km: The course offers varying levels of difficulty, with opportunities to follow distinct linear features for much of the course. A compass, clothes suitable for the terrain and some carbohydrate loading are recommended. The terrain may feel moderately hilly, depending on how energetic you feel on the day.
Long course, 4.1 km: A somewhat more technically challenging course—and a dream for anyone who loves frequent changes of direction and fast-paced control picking! The course includes a spectator control where friends and family can recharge your energy with cheers before the final loop. Moderately hilly terrain—and remember, 4.1 km is the straight-line distance!

Please note: Private land is shown in olive green on the map and is ALWAYS out of bounds.
Please note that the maximum allowed time is two hours. Competitors who do not complete the course must report to the finish so that the organisers know who is still out in the forest.
