Choose a journal based on Open Access
Many public research financiers use policies that require researchers who receive publication grants has to publish Open Access. The requirements of the financiers can vary, so it is important to check the financier's policy when choosing a journal.
Finding Open Access journals
Researchers can find Gold Open Access journals in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), a database that lists Open Access journals that are international, meet a high scientific level and apply peer review.
