Internationalization
CAMM maintains a strong and growing international presence, actively engaging with partners across Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Through participation in global conferences, strategic partnerships, and high-level collaborations, CAMM contributes to advancing sustainable mining and critical raw materials research worldwide. CAMM’s internationalization activities are led by Jasmina Toromanovic.
Europe
Within Europe, CAMM plays an active role in strengthening regional collaboration and visibility in the mining and raw materials sector. Participation in events such as the Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining (FEM) Conference in Finland has provided a platform to showcase LTU’s research, education, and initiatives, attracting strong interest from industry, academia, and prospective students.
CAMM is also engaged in broader European collaboration efforts, including activities connected to Zambia–EU partnerships, resulting in selected bilateral research cooperation with the University of Zambia (UNZA). These initiatives position CAMM as a key partner in advancing sustainable mining research within European and international frameworks.
