This course is for professional and student geoscientists who are interested in the application of novel, submicron-scale imaging and analysis techniques to better understand ore deposits, and, in particular, to address current and emerging challenges faced by the exploration and mining sectors as they relate to the spatial, chemical, and physical heterogeneities in ores that are increasingly being recognized in a wide range of deposit types.
