CRM Arena
The CRM Arena is CAMM-CRM’s cross-cutting forum for collaboration and knowledge exchange across all research pillars. Its purpose is to strengthen integration, explore emerging topics, and provide holistic analyses of CRM value chains – from geology and processing to recycling, policy, and societal impact.
The Arena also connects CAMM-CRM with major initiatives such as SUN – Natural Resources for a Sustainable Transformation of Society and CAMM-SFO, enabling joint activities and interdisciplinary dialogue.
Leaders: Charlotte Andersson and Nils Jansson
Key activities:
- Forming multidisciplinary working groups to analyse CRM-related technological, economic, and policy challenges.
- Exploring joint internal calls for CRM research with SUN and CAMM-SFO.
- Organizing an annual critical raw materials conference in Luleå.
The CRM Arena also identifies new research questions that cut across existing pillars. Insights from these activities may feed into the current pillars or form the basis for future research themes.
