The collection and analysing of data for decision making is essential for operating and maintaining equipment and infrastructure in the most effective and efficient way. To collect the necessary data, resources (hard and software) must be developed, adjusted and integrated to suit set requirements.

The aim of his project is to do this for the collection and analysing of data from the research station on the Western Main Line and the Ore Railway. The work will start by acquiring the required hardware. The next step will be to map necessary information services followed by the development and implementation of identified information.

The expected result is the hard and software required for the demonstrator that is to be developed within the scope of the project ”Assignment Order Measurement data from the experimental station at Western Main Line and the Ore Railway Transport Administration - JVTC Luleå University of Technology“.
