Goal
The goal of this project is to develop a holistic condition monitoring, diagnostics, prognostics and health management strategy based on point cloud data and weather forecast.
Project status and results
This project is ongoing with the aim of developing a simulated hybrid digital twin of the railway catenary system with a data driven and a physics aware pipelines. Ongoing work in data driven side is focused on classification of individual catenary wires based on their position on the masts. Ongoing work in the physics aware side is focused on developing simulation models for catenary based on temperature and snow accretion for integration in the digital twin.
