Projects status and results
The Resilient Malmbana initiative is a complement to Trafikverket's development program. It will be a process-oriented approach to investigate which long-term challenges the academy should focus on for research. Preliminary focus areas are track substructure, bridges, more efficient maintenance logistics, analysis for prediction, regulations and AI, condition monitoring, increased axle load, maintenance in an Arctic environment with year-round maintenance and the importance of the Iron Ore line from a NATO perspective.
