Creaternity Lab Day
09:00 – 10:00 Material Science Lab
Research is conducted on how the materials of the future should be produced and what properties they should be able to obtain. With the help of advanced and expensive equipment, one can learn about the innermost composition of the materials and how it determines the materials' usefulness for various applications.

- Marina Corvo Alguacli
09:30 – 10:30 Biochemical Process Engineering Lab, C531 (meeting point: entrance C12)
Research focus on converting carbon to valuable products through nature-inspired routes, with the help of almost invisible but crucial living organisms such as bacteria, fungi, and algae!

10:00 – 11:00 Environment Lab, F 653
Speaking of poo, there are great opportunities to make better use of household waste water. Today, the nutrients in wastewater are not reused in agriculture. In this lab, the researchers are looking at ways to return the nutrients to the fields so that we use them again and again in a cycle.

10:15 – 11:15 Tribolab
Wear and friction are major culprits for a sustainable society. It is estimated that more than 20 percent of the world's energy is used to overcome friction. If you can reduce these losses, you can also create much more energy efficient machines. How to reduce wear and friction is studied in this lab.

10:30 – 11:30 The office environment at Product innovation
Product development and production are two very important processes in the development of new machines and vehicles. In this research environment, people work to find efficient ways both for the creative product development process as well as the way in which the products are to be manufactured.
