Close the Loop
Close the Loop is a collaborative project that promotes circular economy among manufacturing companies in Norrbotten and Västerbotten through knowledge and competence development, networking, and support in developing circular business models and sustainable product design.
Project Overview
The project supports manufacturing companies in their transition towards more circular operations by strengthening knowledge of circular business models, design for extended product lifetime, and resource-efficient production. Through seminars, workshop series, and company-oriented support activities, the project creates conditions for increased circularity, strengthened competitiveness, and reduced environmental impact within the region’s industry.
Luleå University of Technology contributes research-based expertise in circular business models, design processes, and sustainability analysis, thereby strengthening the scientific foundation and methodological development of the project.
