PRECISE Moments highlighted AI solutions in healthcare research
On 21 April, PRECISE Moments hosted a webinar featuring short presentations and joint discussions. During the session, researchers shared ongoing projects and demonstrated how artificial intelligence can be used in healthcare research.
The webinar AI in Healthcare Research – A PRECISE Moment was held as part of the PRECISE Moments lecture series. It was organised in collaboration between Luleå University of Technology and Mälardalen University and aimed at participants seeking an introduction to AI in healthcare research. There was a strong turnout, with close to 60 participants, including several from Region Norrbotten, who also delivered a presentation.
The programme included a series of presentations in which researchers showcased ongoing projects and practical applications of AI. Topics included how movement data can be analysed, how wearable sensors can be used to track health trends, and how AI can support research processes such as image generation.
Dialogue and new perspectives in focus
The webinar concluded with a panel discussion where participants and speakers had the opportunity to ask questions and continue the conversation. The aim was to create space for reflection, knowledge exchange and new perspectives within the field.
PRECISE Moments is a recurring lecture series where short presentations aim to increase knowledge and inspire continued research and collaboration in precision health.
