Welcome to the Swedish Physics Days 2025!
The Swedish Physical Society invites you to the Swedish Physics Days 2025, held at Luleå University of Technology from August 13–15. Here, the future of research ideas meets seasoned pioneers to explore the latest in the world of physics together.
When you arrive at the conference
The conference is held at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in the B and E buildings. You can find the room numbers in the time table, and search for their location using this interactive map.
Registration starts on Wednesday, August 13th, at 08:00 in the entrance area outside lecture hall B192. If you have signed up for the lab tour, then you should put your name in a lab tour group when you register.
Information about city buses can be found here. Buses 4, 5, 6, and 14 are convenient to take between central Luleå and LTU.
An interactive version of the conference schedule as well as the Book of Abstracts is available here.

About the conference
The Swedish Physics Days is the major meeting of the Swedish Physical Society, held every other year. It usually consists of three days filled with popular lectures on physics, study visits, workshops, and company visits. Most sections hold meetings during the Swedish Physics Days, often including presentations. In the years in between, the Swedish Physics Days is replaced by the Nordic Physics Days, where the host alternates among the Nordic Physical Societies. The Swedish Physics Days 2025 will be held in Luleå.
Why Participate?
Learn from the best in the field of physics
The Swedish Physics Days offers three days of engaging lectures, where leading experts and researchers share insights on topics ranging from quantum physics to astrophysics. Discover new perspectives, gain insights into groundbreaking research, and explore the potential of physics in both theory and practice.
Engaging workshops and exciting study visits
Deepen your understanding through workshops and fascinating study visits. The opportunity to apply theories practically makes the conference a unique and unforgettable experience.
A place for networking and collaboration
The Swedish Physics Days is more than a conference; it is an opportunity to build valuable connections with colleagues and future collaborators. Each day concludes with networking activities, where you can discuss ideas and receive feedback from both veterans and emerging talents.
