Abirami Senthil attended the 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference

Abirami Senthil attended the 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference, held at Örnsköldsvik, Sweden where Abirami had the opportunity to participate in the poster pitch competition for PhD students and my pitch was selected for the Södra best poster-pitch award.

Abirami Senthil took the opportunity to pitch her work in a 3-minute presentation on cellulose-based foams to highlight their importance in our society. The methodology and results were presented in a pop-science format correlating the cellulose fiber properties to this foaming technique.

Lastly, some exciting upcoming projects were included like the enzyme functionalized cellulose foams and upscaling experiments in the new foam pilot at the Bioeconomy Arena from RISE.
