Spread of harmonics in the electric power transmission system

Svenska kraftnät (SvK) and Luleå University of Technology (LTU) have started an industrial doctoral project aimed at combining knowledge from academia and knowledge from transmission-system operators.

This project is specifically directed towards obtaining a better understanding of the way in which harmonic waveform distortion spreads through the transmission grid. The project consists of both simulations and measurements.
