Autoplant

This project aims to develop quality measurement systems for soil preparation and planting monitoring for self-assessment of seedling and planting performance.

The project will provide positional images of seedlings and their surroundings, enabling AI modeling of seedlings and planting points. The expected outcome is AI tools for automated monitoring of seedlings and selection of planting points, contributing to sustainable and precise forestry. It is expected to provide insights and tools for both forest owners and researchers. The project is coordinated by Skogforsk in Uppsala.
