Submission Process
Authors are invited to submit their contributions in accordance with the guidelines below. Please carefully review the formatting requirements, submission procedures, and important deadlines before submitting your abstract or full paper.
Submission of Extended Abstract
The extended abstract should address one of the four central themes of the congress. The extended abstract must not exceed two pages. Submissions will be considered either for a poster or an oral presentation. All abstracts must be submitted via EasyChair using the Abstract Template provided below.
Each author may submit a maximum of two abstracts, but only one author can serve as the presenter. To ensure inclusion in the congress program, the presenting author of each accepted abstract must complete their registration within the specified deadline.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer review process before a decision on acceptance is made. When submitting your abstract in EasyChair, please add the letter "A, B, C or D", according to the corresponding central theme, in front of your title in the field "title" in the submission form. Also check the "corresponding author" box during abstract submission to indicate which of the authors will present the work at the congress. All abstracts accepted for oral presentation will be published in the Book of Abstracts of the 9th IAHR Europe Congress.
A submission receipt will be sent automatically to the corresponding author immediately after submission.
Revision of Extended Abstracts
You will get an email notification with review comments and the decision on your extended abstract.
If you wish to address any of the reviewers’ comments, you may upload a revised version of your abstract in EasyChair by February 27, 2026, by navigating to:
Role: Author → View Submission → “Update File” (upper right corner).
Please remember to check the "corresponding author" box in Easychair only for the presenting author.
Submission of Full Paper
After review of the abstracts, all authors have been informed if their work is considered for an oral presentation during the congress. Authors accepted for oral presentations will get the opportunity to submit a full paper (5-10 pages) for publication in the congress proceedings (optional). Please note that only full papers will be published in the proceedings. The proceedings will follow IAHRs rule for Conference proceedings #iahrProceedings. Accepted full papers will receive a DOI, be indexed in Scopus, and be submitted for evaluation for inclusion in the Web of Science.
Authors are requested to use the Template for Full Papers docx, 101.3 kB. for your submission. Full papers may be submitted in EasyChair until April 15, 2026. To submit, select “New Submission”, choose the track “Full Paper Submission: 9th IAHR Europe Congress,” fill in all required information, indicate whether the paper is for the main track or a special session, and upload the manuscript as a PDF file. Attach the Copyright Transfer Agreement docx, 193.6 kB. in the corresponding field.
