BroadVoice – Workplace Influence Strategies
It is becoming increasingly common for employees to be invited to participate directly in the development processes that take place in workplaces. The role of representation through trade unions is being questioned and the legitimacy of trade unions is weakened.
In a European project, we want to challenge this simplistic picture and instead point out the different nuances of the European trade unions' approach to this development, and show concrete opportunities to develop the role of trade unions in giving voice to the demands and wishes of employees.
From Sweden, a research group from Luleå University of Technology (Jan Johansson, Kenneth Abrahamsson and Lena Abrahamsson) participates and from LO Carola Löfstrand participates.
