SynAir-G

SynAir-G investigates how combined exposure to chemical and biological indoor air pollutants affects children’s health and wellbeing, and develops improved chemical and biological sensors that are tested in real-world school settings in five European countries.

The Information Systems group’s role is to lead the Living Lab work with a strong focus on citizen engagement and citizen experience, including a user engagement plan and citizen science actions that connect sensing and data to everyday school realities. The group also organises workshops to test a gamified air-pollution app and capture user insights that guide design, usability, and adoption.
