Tribology Days 2025 - Efficiency First!
Luleå University of Technology invites you to the annual meeting “Tribology Days” on 11–12 November 2025.
This year, the event will take place in Havsörnshallen, Oxelösund, 120 km south of Stockholm, with SSAB as the host. Tribology Days is organised every autumn and attract participants from industry, academia, and institutes with an interest in tribology.
New methods, findings, and discoveries will be presented. The meeting offers excellent opportunities to learn new things and to network with others. As always, the event is co-organised with an industry host, and this year it will be held at SSAB’s steelworks in Oxelösund. There will be an opportunity to take a study visit to their facilities and learn more about their commitment to fossil-free steel. Tribology Days is arranged in cooperation with the Swedish Tribology Association (STRIBO).
The theme for this year is Efficiency First! – highlighting the vital role of tribology in reducing, controlling, and minimising the material and energy losses caused by wear and friction.
The deadline for registration is 1 November. After this date, an additional fee of SEK 500 will apply.
