Industrial Webinar on Digitalization in Steel Manufacturing

The FINAST PhD Student Network co-organized a webinar in collaboration with the Steel Academy PhD Network and Jernkontoret on the topic “Digitalization for innovative steel manufacturing to achieve production and product quality.”

The webinar featured Erik Hallin, Head of AI, Data Analytics, and Digital Steel Solutions at Ferroman, and was aimed at doctoral students working in the iron and steel manufacturing industry. His presentation focused on how process data is collected and transmitted for analysis, enabling analysts to identify patterns and gain deeper insights into steel manufacturing processes.

Ph.D. students from Swedish universities and the University of Oulu actively participated in engaging discussions throughout the session.

Upcoming Lectures
