Call for Demonstrations
While the submission deadline on OpenReview has passed, there is still an opportunity if one would like to present a demonstration of their work without the opportunity of having it peer reviewed.
What we offer
A table with electrical outlet in our demo room, and the audience from the SLTC conference
What you need
Hardware you can bring (could be simply a PC) to your table that can be used for demonstrating your tool/method. And a registered participants who would present the work, and answer questions
What to do
Reach us at SLTC2026@ltu.se with the subject "SLTC2026 demo" and give a short description about:
- What the demonstration would be about
- What kind of environment/hardware will be needed for the demo (what hardware would you have to bring and connect)
- How the tool/demonstration would connect to the SLTC community, and what the key interest/audience would be
Call for Papers
SLTC is inviting submissions of extended abstracts on any NLP-related topic. We offer an opportunity to present your completed or ongoing work to colleague at other Swedish and Nordic universities.

Content
Papers are invited on all theoretical, practical and applied aspects of language technology, including natural language processing, computational linguistics, speech technology, and neighboring areas. Submissions may describe completed or ongoing research, as well as practical applications, and system demonstrations are welcome as a separate track . We welcome work in any language.
Submission
We invite two different types of submissions throughOpenReview(If you do not have an OpenReview account yet, make sure to create it well in advance of the deadline). Submissions should use the style files of the ACL conferences (available onGitHuband onOverleaf).
Submission Type 1: Extended abstracts
We invite extended abstracts of 2 to 4 pages (excluding references). Appendices of any length may be included. The reviewing process for extended abstracts will be single-blind .
The conference does not publish any proceedings, but the extended abstracts accepted will be made available on the conference web page. Hence, it is possible to submit abstracts related to work that has been (or will be) published elsewhere, as long as this is compatible with the conditions of the respective publication channels.
Submission Type 2: System Demonstrations
We invite short papers of up to 4 pages (excluding appendices) describing practical applications and system demonstrations. Appendices of any length may be included. We also encourage authors to include additional resources (repositories, project websites, links to demonstration videos, documentation etc.) in their attached pdf, as an appendix, reference or footnote.
Presentation Format
Type 1 submissions will be presented at the conference as posters, or oral presentations, while Type 2 submissions will be presented as demonstrations.
