Promotion of children's right to participation and influence in the planning and design of public play environment
How can children be enabled to participate in community planning?
This research investigates how children – especially younger children and children with disabilities – can be given real influence in the design of public playgrounds. The goal is to develop policy recommendations and practical tools that help municipalities work with children's participation in a rights-based way. The research is an important contribution to operationalising children's right to play and participation in community planning.
