About the Conference
IAI2027 focuses on Industrial Artificial Intelligence (IAI) and its growing role in improving the operation, maintenance, and management of industrial assets. Advances in AI and digital technologies are creating new opportunities for industries to increase efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness across complex systems.
Over the past decades, Artificial Intelligence has evolved rapidly and is now being applied across sectors such as aerospace, railways, energy, mining, manufacturing, construction, pulp and paper, process industries, and defence. These developments are transforming how industries manage assets, optimise operations, and support decision-making.
IAI2027 brings together researchers, industry professionals, technology developers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, experiences, and recent achievements in Industrial AI and digitalisation. The conference aims to highlight current innovations while also addressing future opportunities and challenges in intelligent asset management, operation, and maintenance.
The growth of Industrial AI is being driven by several technological trends, including the Internet of Things (IoT), the convergence of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), and the rapid advancement of data analytics, machine learning, and automation technologies.
At the same time, significant technical, organisational, and implementation challenges remain. IAI2027 provides a forum for open discussion on both the benefits and limitations of Industrial AI, encouraging collaboration between academia and industry to accelerate practical and sustainable solutions.
The conference offers an international platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas through technical sessions, workshops, keynote presentations, and industry-focused discussions.
