Geoscientific Drone System
Our geoscientific drone system is an advanced tool specifically designed to meet the demands of geoscientific research, such as ore geology, applied geochemistry, and exploration geophysics.
The drone system offers a flexible solution for collecting high-quality data from the air, where different sensor types can be integrated to adapt to varying research requirements.
The system is continuously developed to address the latest research challenges and requirements in geoscientific research. The current configuration includes:
- DJI Matrice 300 RTK
A robust and reliable drone platform with advanced RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning for accurate and stable flight. - DJI GPS Base Station
Enhances positional accuracy and ensures precise data collection. - DJI Zenmuse Dual Thermal-RGB Camera
Combines thermal imaging with high-resolution RGB images for comprehensive aerial data. - AERIALITY ILX-SM-FM4/FM6 with Agrowing Quad Multispectral Lens
Offers advanced multispectral imaging capabilities, ideal for detailed vegetation analysis and more. - Rod-shaped Fluxgate Magnetometer
Provides highly sensitive measurements of magnetic fields, crucial for a wide range of geological surveys.
The drone is capable of flying at both low and high altitudes. This allows for high-resolution data collection over small areas and coverage of larger regions when necessary. The flights are meticulously controlled with the aid of a satellite-based flight control system, ensuring repeatability and precision.
