An interprofessional, proactive and comprehensive model to promote everyday activity and mobility in older people
The project will develop an interprofessional proactive model in primary care to promote life-space mobility and engagement in everyday activities during ageing.
The project will run for three years. Sub-purposes are to identify important factors that affect conditions in the context, develop and test working methods to screen these in groups of older people and to design models for selecting evidence-based interventions in early stages.
The project connects to the doctoral project "An active daily life with safe mobility" in the graduate school Personcentred and Integrated Care and takes place in collaboration between Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Psychology, Region Norrbotten and voluntary organizations.
The research is funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation with SEK 4.2 million.
