ProWater embraces new postdoctoral fellow
Lewis Njaramba has started as postdoctoral fellow in Urban Water Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. In his new role, he will be involved in the ProWater project.
Lewis Njaramba started his research within Stormwater&Sewers in end of August. Within ProWater, he will focus on investigating how residues from the regional mining industry can be used as effective filter materials for phosphorus removal from wastewater.
Lewis has a background in environmental and energy engineering, with a PhD from Kyungpook National University in South Korea, and is passionate about finding sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for cleaner water and a healthier environment.
During his PhD, he explored how biopolymers and MOF composites can be used to develop advanced filter materials that can remove harmful contaminants from aquatic environments.
