Ivan Milovanovic stays with us - now as a postdoc
Earlier this fall, Ivan Milovanovic received his PhD in Urban Water Engineering at Luleå University of Technology with the thesis "Solids and Metals Treatment in Stormwater Control Systems: Laboratory Methods and Field Applications", and is now continuing his research within Stormwater&Sewers and DRIZZLE working in new exciting projects.
Research focus
Ivan's future research aims to tackle increasing challenges in urban water systems and climate adaptation. Key areas of focus include
- identifying sources of microplastics in stormwater and understanding their pathways in urban environments,
- and contributing to international collaboration on the role of green roofs in improving sustainable urban development and stormwater management.
We look forward to continuing to explore the future of sustainable urban environments together with Ivan and our partners - both in Sweden and internationally!
