New intern at Tekniksprånget

We welcome Ellen Hannu Fors as a technical intern for the spring of 2026! Halfway through her internship in Water and Wastewater Engineering at LTU, she has already had the opportunity to work on field projects, green roofs, and research-related tasks.

Welcome Ellen Hannu Fors as a Tekniksprånget intern for the spring of 2026! As of late March, Ellen has completed half of her internship in the Department of Urban Water Engineering at LTU. Her interest in environmental issues, chemistry, and mathematics drew her to apply for the position through the Engineering Leap program. Ellen has worked on green roofs, conducted fieldwork, handled administrative tasks, and attended lectures and seminars in the field.

“Looking ahead, I have my own project on sediment management, and I’ll also be helping to conduct interviews about private sewage systems for a research project. So far, I think the internship has been educational and rewarding, and I’m especially taking away the great sense of community among my colleagues,” says Ellen.
