Bio-based porous structures as a novel approach to urban flood management.

This project aims to investigate the possibilities of using bio-based porous structures for stormwater absorption as a novel approach to managing stormwater runoff volumes in urban areas. The project is interdisciplinary and involves the three subjects Urban Water Engineering, Wood and Bionanocomposites, and Fluid Mechanics at Luleå University of Technology.
