Description: The course introduces the basics of programming methodology (software engineering) and principles useful when designing larger software packages. The course introduces MATLAB as a programming language, and the main building blocks of MATLAB programming. The aim is to learn how to design and implement a larger program so that it is well documented and possible to both maintain and extend.

The course consists of a series of lectures (broadcast), mandatory homework assignments, and an individual final project. The examination will be continuous, through presentation in peer-review groups.
