About me
I'm a doctoral student working with distributed friction measurements from connected vehicles. In my research, I aim to provide a better understanding of winter road conditions by combining data from connected vehicles, maintenance vehicles and weather observations. The results are intended to help road authorities monitor the status of their roads and take better strategic decisions.
My educational background is in energy engineering where I studied wind- and hydropower. My thesis project around ice detection on wind turbines led me towards my current work where the surfaces are different but the ice is the same.
