About me
I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Luleå University of Technology, supported by a scholarship from Kempestiftelserna. My research focuses on developing advanced chemistries and technologies to enhance the fire safety of materials, particularly polymers, composites, and textiles. With hands-on experience in bench-scale fire testing and a solid understanding of industry standards—especially in the transportation sector—I am aiming to contribute to the development of safer materials. This ongoing effort also involves helping bridge the gap between research and real-world applications, making fire safety solutions more effective and practical. Currently, I am working on optimizing treatments for wood to make it a safer option for construction—all while gaining a new appreciation for the forests around me.
