About me

I have been a licensed physiotherapist since 2016 and have gained clinical experience from working in both inpatient and outpatient care at Sunderby Hospital. My primary focus has been on cardiac rehabilitation, but I have also worked in surgery, orthopedics, and neurorehabilitation. Since the spring of 2024, I have been a doctoral student at 80% in the research school PRECISE External link. and work 20% in clinical practice at the Physiotherapy Unit at Sunderby Hospital.

STAR-VR

My doctoral project focuses on how we can use Virtual Reality (VR) to test and train sensorimotor movement functions in individuals with the rheumatic disease axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA). STAR-VR External link. is an interdisciplinary project between physiotherapy, medical science, and machine learning at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in collaboration with Sunderby Hospital (Region Norrbotten) and the medical technology company Curest AB.
