I am a cognitive scientist who works as an Associate Senior Lecturer at the Psychology subject.
My research primarily concerns perception and short-term memory. This entails basic research on distraction, where I use distracting vibrations to expand our understanding of how short-term memory works. I also participate in more applied research on environmental psychology where we explore how people come to understand environmentally significant information.
I am the project leader of an externally funded project on vibrations and distraction.
